I have 4 dogs so we always heard when someone is at the door. With our new house it's kinda hard to hear when we're outside including the dogs. When my package arrived, I was pleasantly surprised on how securely everything was in tact.
When you receive this in the transmitter you open it carefully, their is a light blue rubber seal make sure secure it back in place, helps keeping rain and dust out. Back to the battery you take off plastic coating, mine didn't have it, then replace it. I personally don't know what kind of battery it is I have never seen one like it before.
Transmitter goes outside , I used two doubled sided tape once you stick on it very hard to move. I do have of the receiver in my dining room,and living room to be able to hear it.
You get the option to choose 48 different melodies. You can have different melodies on there receivers. There are 3 buttons volume up, select the melody, volume down.With 5 adjustable volume levels .
Has a strong signal up to 280m, operating over 900 foot range
.And most of all it's very easy to put up.
