I adore my new Salt Lamp by WhiteSwade.
I honestly wasn't expecting it to be so intriguing, the ambient is simply gorgeous.
When staring at it for a while, your mind drifts away in a peaceful manner.

I have the lamp in my bedroom to help with Reduced Allergies, Cleaner Air, Improved Mood.
With the dimmer switch it allows me to have it on the brightest setting, at bed time I dim it all the way down.
It is dim enough to where it doesn't bother me while sleeping.
The lamp itself has a pink color, with a rough uneven texture. Sets on a round dark wood base.

I actually done some research, and found them to be very interesting.
Himalayan Salt Lamps are made from pure, food grade, himalaya salt crystals. ( You want to make sure that the pure himalayan, not the knock off to achieve the full benefits. )

On a average calculation that 1pound of crystal will cleanse in a 4×4 area.
With this weighting 3.6 pounds it will work in a average size room. You can add more if needed.
You want them in the room you that you spend more time in.
You can feel a little warmth coming off the crystal, but it only goes to 20 degrees.
